Cognition’s current new-customer page shows Pro at $20 per month and Max at $200. The public Canadian display does not establish an ISO currency or checkout tax total. Pro includes higher model/agent allowances and access to Devin Cloud. Its allowances refresh daily and weekly, with extra usage available at API pricing. The official migration FAQ says existing Windsurf plans and prices stay unchanged by the rename, so the new card is not a renewal quote for a legacy account.
Limits that affect the purchase
Windsurf became Devin Desktop on June 2, 2026, according to the official FAQ. Its current local agent and cloud features need their own evaluation; the old Cascade demonstration supplies no fixed current quota. Model, context and task complexity affect usage. Generated code, dependencies and public deployment need review. A desktop plan’s Cloud access should not be treated as unlimited cloud work or an independently priced developer API.
What the existing demonstration shows
The April 19, 2025 tutorial documents starting an X’s-and-O’s game at 2:23, running it at 3:30, adding score tracking at 4:13 and a space theme at 5:23. Its published chapters support a concrete small-game revision workflow. No new editor session, security test or current Devin Local/Cloud comparison was performed.
