Privacy-preserving site measurement
Kingy AI uses two first-party WordPress measurement tools. Koko Analytics provides daily and longer-term visitor, pageview, page, and referrer reports. Kingy Traffic Pulse provides rolling 15-minute, 1-hour, 3-hour, 6-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour aggregate pageview counts for individual public pages and posts. These tools store their reports in Kingy AI’s own WordPress database and do not send analytics pageviews to Google Analytics or another third-party analytics service.
Koko Analytics
Koko Analytics is configured with its Cookieless visitor-detection method, also called fingerprinting. For each visitor, Koko creates a one-way hash from the request’s IP address, browser user-agent, and a secret value that changes daily. Koko uses that temporary hash to estimate returning visitors and unique pageviews during the day. It does not store the raw IP address or user-agent in its analytics reports, and its temporary fingerprint storage is cleared daily.
Koko does not create or read an analytics cookie and does not use local storage or session storage. Cookieless visitor detection is an estimate rather than an exact count of people: similar devices on the same network can occasionally be combined, while the same person using different devices or browsers can be counted separately. Aggregate Koko reports are retained for up to 13 months.
Kingy Traffic Pulse
Traffic Pulse sends one small same-origin measurement request when a public page becomes visible. The request contains the normalized public path, page title, WordPress post identifier and content type when available, and either the current external referrer hostname or a direct/internal label. The browser user-agent is evaluated in memory only to set an aggregate suspected-bot flag.
Traffic Pulse stores pageview totals in five-minute aggregate buckets. It does not store raw IP addresses, full referrer URLs, user-agent strings, cookies, local-storage or session-storage values, or visitor, session, account, or device identifiers. Traffic Pulse counts page loads, not unique people; reloading a page or opening it in another tab can create another pageview. Its detailed aggregate buckets are retained for up to 90 days.
WordPress sends an internal daily email summary of the rolling 24-hour total, likely-human views, suspected-bot views, and active-page count to two Kingy AI team addresses. The message contains aggregate counts only.
No analytics consent popup
Kingy AI’s current site measurement does not create analytics cookies or analytics values in browser storage. The former analytics consent interface and its aggregate consent-decision counter are no longer used. A consent choice saved by an earlier version of the site is ignored by the current measurement setup.
Previous analytics
Kingy AI previously used Google Analytics and cookie-based Koko measurement behind an analytics choice. New Google Analytics collection from Kingy.ai is disabled. Historical records remain subject to the retention and deletion controls of the systems in which they were collected.
Hosting and security logs
Like every website, Kingy AI’s hosting, content-delivery, and security providers necessarily process network information such as IP address, browser user-agent, and request time to deliver and protect the site. Those operational systems are separate from the first-party aggregate analytics reports described above and may keep security or access logs under their own retention controls.
