Canada web: Pro $17/month equivalent, billed annually; currency unconfirmed. The current individual Pro card lists deeper research, model selection, document and app creation, expanded Computer access and 4,000 bonus credits. The current annual headline is an equivalent monthly amount. Confirm the total annual charge and currency; the separate Enterprise seat prices on /pro are not the individual plan.

Limits that affect the purchase

Bonus credits are not a verified recurring monthly balance. Limits vary by feature, and citations still need checking against their sources. Free provides basic cited search with limited advanced use; it may cover occasional page research. The Perplexity API Platform is billed separately; the consumer subscription does not include a general API balance.

What the existing demonstration shows

The older Chrome-extension tutorial summarizes a page and searches within a page or domain; it does not test current Computer or paid models. Perplexity documents consumer AI data retention as enabled by default with a prospective opt-out, while Enterprise plans have a separate no-training statement.

Before you use it

Confirm your current plan family, especially after an Enterprise downgrade, and check the AI data retention setting. The training opt-out affects future data only. Consumer and Enterprise policies do not establish API Platform terms.

What can change

Plan names and limits can change; consumer prices, quotas and Sonar API behavior remain outside this Passport.

Privacy after a plan change

Perplexity’s data-collection guide, checked October 22, 2026, distinguishes a temporary Enterprise billing lapse from a voluntary downgrade. A lapse can restrict features while the Enterprise no-training protection continues. Downgrading to Free or another consumer plan brings the account under the consumer policy, where AI data retention is enabled by default. Check Account settings > Preferences > AI data retention after that change.

Turning that control off applies to future training-data collection. It does not remove previously collected training data or stop processing needed for service operation, legal compliance and product improvement. Kingy has not tested the setting or a plan change. This correction covers those privacy boundaries; the older plan inventory, quotas and API gaps below keep their original review scope.
