Microsoft Is Opening Its AI Rulebook as Nadella Draws a Line on Superintelligence

The artificial intelligence race has spent years operating under a simple assumption: faster is better.

Build a smarter model. Give it more tools. Add more compute. Release the next version before somebody else does.

Now Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is injecting another word into that vocabulary: control.
