Why Musick AI Is Your Go-To AI Music Generator – Tutorial

Musick AI is one of the AI tools you can use to explore music generation from a text description or your own lyrics. This tutorial retains its December 2024 video and screenshot. Public site and policies checked: October 4, 2026. We inspected public controls and pricing without signing in, generating music, listening to a generated result, downloading a song, or making a purchase for this update.

Getting Started

Start with Musick AI‘s Simple mode and describe the genre, mood, instruments, and intended use. For example: “Instrumental lo-fi background for a calm technology tutorial, warm electric piano, soft drums, relaxed pace, no vocals.” The public interface advises describing genres and moods instead of copying a specific artist or song. This is a suggested beginner prompt; we have not generated or evaluated its output.

In the public Custom preview, Musick AI shows Lyrics, Style of Music, and Title fields. Turning on Instrumental hides the lyrics field and requests music without vocals. Use lyrics you wrote or have permission to use. Check the account’s available generation allowance before running a request; selecting a mode is not evidence that a finished track will match every instruction.

Digging Into the Magic

The public generator offers vocal and instrumental options:

  1. Full Song Generation
    • Use Custom mode to provide lyrics for a vocal track.
    • Describe the musical style you want.
    • Listen for intelligible vocals and unwanted artifacts before using a result.
  2. Instrumental Generation
    • Enable Instrumental to request music without lyrics.
    • Try a brief for a podcast intro or video background.
    • Check pacing, transitions, and whether the track leaves room for narration.

Before distributing a track through Spotify or another service, review the Musick Terms of Service and the destination’s requirements. Musick’s terms allow personal or commercial use and say generated content belongs to its creator, subject to those terms. They also prohibit infringing others’ intellectual property. Those vendor statements do not establish that a particular output clears third-party rights or qualifies for copyright protection.

Costs and Plans

The public Pricing page has separate monthly and yearly views. The figures below were checked on October 4, 2026. A yearly card’s “per month” figure should not be treated as a month-to-month billing option: it also says renewal is yearly. Confirm the total charge, renewal period, and allowance before subscribing.

  • Free Version
    • The pricing card says 30 generations, one per day with login; the homepage FAQ instead says three free generations first. These statements do not establish a consistent current account allowance.
    • Music is public.
    • No downloads.
    • Check the allowance shown in your account before generating.
  • Basic — yearly view ($6.99/month displayed; renews yearly)
    • Advertised priority generation queue; no speed measurement performed.
    • Unlimited downloads.
    • The card lists 3,600 generations (7,200 songs) for the yearly term; these are the vendor’s stated units.
    • The card says your generated music is visible only to you.
    • The card says “Unsubscribe Anytime” and is valid for one year. Cancelling renewal does not itself establish refund eligibility.
  • Basic — monthly view ($9.90/month displayed)
    • Advertised priority generation queue; renews monthly.
    • 1,000 downloads each month.
    • The card lists 300 generations (600 songs) for the monthly term.
    • The card says your generated music is visible only to you.

The site also displays a Popular plan; check the relevant billing-period view for its price and limits. Free music is advertised as public and unavailable for download; paid-card visibility is a different setting. The Privacy Policy says Musick collects name, email, payment information, and cookie-related browsing data, with sharing exceptions for providing the service or meeting legal requirements. “Visible only to you” does not mean the service processes no data.

Who Can Use It?

For a YouTube video, podcast, or personal experiment, treat a generated result as a draft to evaluate. Listen through the entire track for clicks, abrupt endings, repeated sections, and unwanted vocals. Test it under your narration at the volume you intend to use. These are suggested checks, not listening results or measured savings from this update.

Extra Perks

The public site provides a Discover section and genre links including pop, jazz, and rap. Browse examples for ideas, then write your own brief. We did not verify saving tags to your tracks, community feedback, or the quality of those examples.

Begin with a short, specific brief and inspect the account’s remaining allowance. If you generate several versions, compare them against the same purpose: genre, mood, vocal clarity, and fit with your project. Keep the prompt and the version you selected so you can judge a later revision consistently.

Before paying, read the Refund Policy. It says requests can be made within ten days of purchase and eligibility requires the product to be unused or undownloaded, if applicable; requests are reviewed within five business days. These are published conditions, not a guaranteed refund or tested support-response time. Check download, visibility, licensing, and renewal terms before choosing a paid plan.
