Historical clarification, October 4, 2026. On November 20, 2024, Intuit announced Intuit Assist for U.S. QuickBooks Online customers. Features differed by product; Solopreneur and Self Employed were excluded.
How Intuit Assist Simplifies Business Operations
Announced QuickBooks Online workflows included:
- Documents: Turn emails, documents or handwritten notes into estimates, invoices or bills for review.
- Reminders: Intuit reported payment averaging five days sooner in a U.S. beta comparison, January–August 2024: AI-drafted reminders versus standard reminders to the same customers. The footnote excluded QuickBooks Online Advanced. This was not a guaranteed outcome.
- Bookkeeping: Extract receipt details and match QuickBooks Payments or Bill Pay transactions to bank entries.
- Human help: Required a separate monthly QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted subscription plus QuickBooks Online. Some bookkeeping services might not be included.
The Vendor’s Customer Example
The release featured beta customer Kim Cross of Zhi Bath & Body. She described photographing meeting notes to produce an estimate for review.
