Which plan is worth considering
CodeLLM now redirects to Abacus AI Desktop. Its current offer is $7 for the first month and $10/month thereafter. The billing FAQ lists Basic at $10/month with 20,000 credits and three Agent tasks of limited complexity. Currency was not explicit in the Canadian view. The subscription is shared across the Abacus workspace, not a separate unlimited code-completion allowance.
Limits that affect the purchase
The 2025 editor tutorial predates the current Desktop product. Pro costs $20 total/month and includes 30,000 shared credits; removing an Agent task-count cap does not remove credit consumption. Persistent SuperComputer use costs credits separately. Test generated code and inspect permissions before connecting important projects.
What the existing demonstration shows
The creator chapters show the editor at 0:44, function generation at 5:03 and Chinese-to-English code text at 6:12. They establish selected earlier coding tasks, not security, correctness or parity with the current Desktop workflow. No repository was connected and no new code-generation benchmark was run.
