GitHub Copilot Fusion
GitHub announced Copilot Fusion general availability on October 28, 2026, on all Copilot plans in VS Code, the Copilot app, Copilot CLI and JetBrains IDEs. Users update their client and select Fusion in the model picker. Available models and effort settings remain subject to plan and administrator policy.
