A funding announcement is a starting point, not a product milestone. This first After the Raise edition establishes a baseline for 12 selected creative AI companies and follows dated public evidence of what happened next. Some already had working products when they raised; others announced later releases or distribution changes. The record is incomplete, and it does not tell us whether the financing caused those changes.
The cohort was selected before outcomes were assessed, with eligibility amendments for replacement members. It is not a representative sample, an investment performance measure or a 12-company success score. Funding dates below are the latest qualifying announcements found in bounded research, not proof that no later transaction exists. The October 29, 2026 observation cutoff applies throughout.
The cohort and its starting points
Each row links to the source for the selected announcement. Existing Atlas and Capital Flow identifiers connect the cohort to those records; this report does not create a second company-profile database. Availability descriptions are based on the cited company or investor statements, not independent product tests.

TrueFan’s primary company page confirms the June amount and links to dated reporting for June 4. Kotoba’s clock uses its June 24 issuer announcement; an investor post appeared June 23. Captions and Mirage are one company in this cohort. Its issuer described the growth financing as avoiding additional equity dilution.
Five changes with dates attached
AudioShake extended its existing SDK. On December 2, 2025, AudioShake announced real-time music removal through Studio, API and SDK. The announcement preceded its December 30 day-90 checkpoint and its day-180 checkpoint. The company already had an SDK before the raise.
Mirelo added editing after its initial generator. Its October 22, 2025 launch placed Studio and SFX 1.5 before the December raise. On May 19, 2026, the company announced local audio editing, extension and looping through Studio, plugins and its API. That announcement predates its 180-day checkpoint. A later SFX 2.0 release was announced October 14; it is not evidence of availability by day 180.
Suno turned a stated plan into a later release. Its June financing announcement said a music-industry-developed model would roll out in the coming months. On September 9, Suno announced v6 and v6-wild for paid subscribers and v6-mini for everyone. The announcement came after the 90-day checkpoint, so it cannot be counted as a day-90 delivery.
Synthesia announced a new beta. At the January raise, the company described agentic learning and communications as ambitions. Its October 9 Syren Studio announcement describes a beta for prompt-led video, motion graphics and chat editing. Synthesia says free, self-serve and Enterprise customers can access it with credits, subject to administrator controls. This is after day 180 and remains a vendor-described beta.
Kotoba added distribution and an integration. The June 24 baseline already included an alpha API and SDK. Its news index records Agentforce Voice Japanese on August 10, before day 90, and fal availability on October 19. The latter should not be backdated to day 90.
What the checkpoints can support
As of October 29, 12 of 12 members had reached day 30, 10 of 12 had reached day 90, and 5 of 12 had reached day 180. The review retained dated vendor changes for at least two companies by day 90 and two by day 180. Those are evidence counts, not success rates or exhaustive release counts. Missing historical evidence remains unknown; it is not a failed checkpoint or evidence of closure.
Historical numeric prices at the announcement date remain unknown across the cohort. AudioShake’s announcement described annual access fees plus usage pricing, but not a numeric tariff. Later public pricing cannot establish what a customer paid at the raise or whether prices increased. Company claims about product availability and performance are attributed to their sources; this pilot did not independently test generation or authenticated workflows.
Four original candidates—Respeecher, ThinkDiffusion, Visily and Vidmob—remain on eligibility hold because a qualifying public funding announcement day in the selection window was not verified. A financing filing date alone does not supply that clock. TrueFan and Kotoba replaced failed eligibility slots under a documented amendment; the holds remain part of the record. Future editions can add dated evidence to this fixed cohort while keeping unknowns visible.

Public sources and retained observations are dated individually. Numeric historical prices remain unknown, and no authenticated generation workflow was independently tested.
