AI Tool Profile
HitFilm Express
A discontinued video editor and effects application.
Before you buy
Best for: Owners recovering an existing HitFilm project, not buyers starting a new editor workflow.
Price: Canada web: no new FXhome purchase or registration
Included: Artlist’s official sunset notice says new FXhome registrations, plan purchases and upgrades stopped when the website was taken down January 15, 2025.
Main limits: An old tutorial or third-party download does not establish activation, support or a valid new license. Preserve existing projects and export through a working licensed setup.
What Kingy showed: The historical tutorial increases audio gain in HitFilm Express; other retained tutorials cover text and dark-footage adjustments.
Buying details checked 2026-10-22 with region and currency stated above. Historical demonstrations and the broader fact ledger keep their own dates.

Which plan is worth considering
Canada web: no new FXhome purchase or registration. Artlist’s official sunset notice says new FXhome registrations, plan purchases and upgrades stopped when the website was taken down January 15, 2025. The vendor notice is indexed but its former support URL now redirects to the help center. This profile does not recommend unofficial installers or licensing workarounds.
Limits that affect the purchase
An old tutorial or third-party download does not establish activation, support or a valid new license. Preserve existing projects and export through a working licensed setup. The old free edition is not a verified current signup entitlement. No included general-purpose developer API entitlement was verified for this plan.
What the existing demonstration shows
The historical tutorial increases audio gain in HitFilm Express; other retained tutorials cover text and dark-footage adjustments. The retained recording was published 2022-02-25T01:55:19-08:00. Its public description and chapters support this account; no new transcript or frame audit, product test, purchase or benchmark was performed. Current offers are researched separately. Check the recording for the exact steps and commercial context. See the retained Kingy demonstration.
Sources and buying-review date
Buying details checked October 22, 2026. Plan research uses current official sources; demonstration descriptions use the retained Kingy record and any captured creator chapters. No new subscription, paid generation or checkout was performed. The buying-review date does not renew every claim in the broader facts ledger.
