Starter offer and training choice
The current pricing page advertises Starter’s first month at $1 until November 1, alongside its regular $6 monthly price. It is a first-month offer, not a recurring $1 subscription. Confirm account eligibility, currency, taxes and renewal at checkout. The October 20 expiry observation retained below describes the earlier offer; it does not rule out this newly observed promotion.
Before uploading a voice or confidential script, check ElevenLabs’ data-use setting. Its documentation says submitted data can improve audio models. Disable Improve the models for everyone under Terms and privacy → Data use and save the choice to exclude new submissions from training. Enterprise has a separate default and service-provision exception. The document does not promise to reverse training already completed. Kingy has not tested the setting or purchased the offer.

Which plan is worth considering
For Canada, ElevenLabs billing documentation specifies USD. Starter is US$6/month with 30,000 monthly credits and commercial-use permission; it is the relevant first paid tier for occasional narration. Creator shows US$11 for the first month, then US$22, with 121,000 credits and professional cloning. Free has 10,000 credits but does not include the paid commercial licence. Tax is extra.
Limits that affect the purchase
Credits are not a fixed number of finished minutes across all models and features. Reserve room for pronunciation fixes and retakes. Use only voices and likenesses you have permission to reproduce. The API has its own rate surface; a creator-plan credit headline is not a universal API cost per minute. The current product page promotes Eleven v4, which is newer than the retained v2 integration example.
What the existing demonstration shows
The Dreamina Octo demonstration at 1:29 shows a character-voice refinement after selecting Eleven v2 text-to-speech. That is evidence of one integrated voice workflow. The selected voice name, full settings and standalone ElevenLabs plan were not retained, so it does not prove current v4 quality, voice-clone accuracy, latency or per-minute cost. The listed base ElevenCreative plans and monthly credit pools match the September 7 update below. For API budgeting, the ElevenAPI pricing page lists dollar rates and included quantities for each model. The platform billing documentation also describes credit use through its website and API. Match the billing product and account plan before converting platform credits into API costs.
Current documentation also lists Eleven v4 with 90+ languages and a 10,000-character limit, and v4 Turbo with 90+ languages and vendor-stated median inference latency of about 100 ms. That latency excludes application and network latency. The older v3, Multilingual v2 and Flash v2.5 statements remain dated below.
Promotion correction, October 20, 2026: The previously recorded $1 Starter offer was advertised only through October 18 and should not be used for a current budget. The current public pricing page lists Starter at $6 per month and Creator at $22 per month, with Creator’s first month shown at $11.
