Script draft

Open with the uncomfortable truth: a prototype that looks good is not shipped. Shipping means the useful workflow works, the page is findable, the risks are known, and you can roll it back if something goes wrong.

Start by freezing version one. Write the audience, the job, the core output, and the things that are not included yet. This prevents launch from turning into an endless feature pile.

Run the QA checklist. Test every input, button, generated output, copy action, download, internal link, and form. Check empty states, invalid inputs, realistic examples, mobile layout, keyboard navigation, status messages, metadata, and schema.

Explain the WordPress path. Use staging. Install or update the plugin. Import draft pages through REST, WP-CLI, WXR, or manual paste. Apply Yoast fields. Assign the JNews page template. Clear cache. Test logged in and logged out before publishing.

Explain the Vercel path. Use a preview deployment, confirm environment variables, check logs, test routes, verify forms and metadata, and only then promote to production.

Cover privacy and safety. Saved plans can stay in localStorage. Email capture should be optional, consent-based, validated, nonce-protected in WordPress, and connected only to an approved provider. Agents and automations need human approval before external actions.

Add a launch-room checklist moment. Before publishing, ask who owns content approval, technical approval, privacy approval, and rollback. Even for a solo builder, wearing those four hats for five minutes catches problems that a normal preview pass misses.

Show what to monitor after publish. Check analytics for visits, logs for errors, form submissions for consent, search previews for metadata, and user replies for confusion. Shipping does not end at the publish button; the first feedback loop is part of the launch.

Give viewers a first-hour routine. Open the public page in a private window, run the main workflow once, download every file, submit the form with a test address if allowed, and keep the rollback notes beside you while the first real visitors arrive.

Show rollback. Know how to unpublish pages, deactivate a plugin, revert a deployment, remove a redirect, restore a backup, or clear cache. A launch is safer when rollback is boring.

Close with the action: download the AI-Built Project Launch Checklist, publish the smallest useful version, monitor logs and feedback, and improve from real users.

Pinned comment

Before launch: freeze scope, run QA, confirm privacy, document rollback, then publish small.

CTA

Send viewers to the AI App Builder for Beginners, then have them save the plan in their browser and download the starter PDF before building.
