Antigravity May preview is scheduled to retire October 5
Google schedules the May Antigravity preview for October 5 retirement and names antigravity-preview-09-2026 as successor. Remote output-only clients need an ID change; local tools and parsed function_call steps also change.
Required action
Inventory use of the exact May preview ID. Update to the September preview. Regression-test local tool handlers and function_call parsers where used; remote output-only clients can update the agent ID.
Scope and evidence limits
Gemini API managed agent; no regional exception documented
After the scheduled October 5 retirement, the May agent ID may stop working. Local tool handlers require shape changes; remote output-only clients need only the agent ID change.
