KAPI is Kingy AI's planned price index for normalized text and coding workloads. This preview exposes the candidate scope and the gates still blocking an official reading. It does not publish a price ranking or headline index value yet.
The KAPI preview is live; the KAPI index is not. Provider prices may exist elsewhere on Kingy AI, but KAPI withholds a reading until the exact endpoint, rate, region, effective date and independent verification all pass its rules. A blank value means “not qualified,” never “free.”

What must pass before Kingy publishes a number.
KAPI is designed to be slower than a scraped rate table and more useful than one.
Exact public endpoint
The model ID, access route, currency, unit, tier and region must be unambiguous.
Official source evidence
The source, observation time, effective time and checksum must be retained.
Comparable workload cost
Input, cached input, output and special conditions stay separate before a standard workload is calculated.
Independent recomputation
The candidate must pass review and the planned baseline before it can enter a headline series.
