# Nine product-ad exports with one fixed edit

Six new AI-assisted final ads and three retained conventional baselines pass the same file gates: 720 × 1280, H.264 MP4, 24 fps, 15 ± 0.1 seconds, silent, full decode. Passing these gates does not establish product fidelity, readability, useful motion or an acceptable ad.

Each workflow receives the same fictional bottle image and three briefs. Every final contains two five-second visual sections and a five-second original-packshot end card, with the same exact copy template. Gen-4.5 supplies five-second raw shots; silent Veo 3.1 Fast supplies six-second raw shots, of which only the first five seconds are used. Both routes run through Runway Dev API 2024-11-06. Family names are not immutable weights.

Twelve new requests succeeded. One attempt per shot, no retries, prompt tuning, quality-based replacements or editing revisions. The pre-run protocol, shuffled request order, fixed seeds, payloads, output hashes and original files are included. The conventional baseline files are reused from Report 002; duplicating deterministic renders would not add independent evidence.

The twelve requests consumed 720 existing credits, valued at US$7.20 at the checked rate. Each 60-credit balance decrease matched the planned rate for that request. No new cash purchase was made. These balance observations are not invoices; human labor and fully loaded cost per accepted ad remain unknown. The separate earlier Gen-4.5 smoke test consumed $0.60, bringing this launch sprint's consumed-credit value to $7.80. Do not add historical study costs to this cohort.

Two independently randomized anonymous review packets are prepared. Reviewer inquiries are not completed reviews. All nine final acceptance decisions remain pending. The original 27-session human-operated study remains 0/27 and was not replaced by this smaller agent-operated cohort.

Three briefs on one fictional SKU, one final per brief/workflow and a single fixed editing template cannot establish a universal winner, stable failure rate or ad effectiveness. One gateway does not test direct Google service reliability. Missing reviews and human time are unknown, never zero. The paid API route does not establish a free web export.

## Reproduce the edit locally

Use Python with Pillow plus FFmpeg/ffprobe. The included source image and fixtures are the exact shared inputs. Check file hashes against manifest.json. Example:

The fresh render should pass technical gates; binary identity across different operating systems, fonts and FFmpeg versions is not guaranteed. Render sidecar's new_generation_spend_usd refers only to local assembly, which makes no API call; cohort generation costs are in attempts.json/results.json. Do not execute bench.py paid commands to reproduce the edit.

requests.json records exact model payloads with a source-image hash placeholder. Repeating generation requires your own account, current pricing checks and paid authorization. It will not reproduce identical model outputs reliably. The private operational submission harness is excluded; its pre-run hash remains in freeze.json. Public render.py, bench.py, fixture and request hashes can be matched to that freeze.
