Vela Harbor Ice Ledger
Sculpture cold-store shift record
Delivery and receiving
The Vela Harbor Ice Ledger belongs to an invented ice-sculpture studio. It tracks display blocks and
completed sculptures inside a cold store. The figures describe the studio's fictional handling plan and do not
constitute refrigeration advice.
Receiving bay
Display blocks arrive through bay H2. The receiving team checks the carrier's studio tag before a block
enters the store.
Rack allocation
Each receiving rack holds 6 display blocks. A block under inspection keeps its rack place until the shift
lead changes the entry.
Delivery label
The delivery tag is sea-green. The tag travels with the receiving sheet while the block moves to its
allocated rack.
Sculpture handoff
After the contour check, finished sculptures move to the silver plinth. A sculpture with an unfinished
contour check remains at its work position.
Carrier distinction
The carrier's receipt is retained separately from the studio tag. The receipt records delivery, while the
studio tag identifies the object within the shift ledger.
Shift continuity
An incoming shift reads the receiving entries before moving blocks. The ledger does not permit a rack
position to be erased merely because a block is temporarily elsewhere.
